Sealift CS is an aqueous hydrogel extracted from twin red algae chondrus crispus (carrageenan) and gigartina stellata, grown along the rocky parts of the Atlantic costs of Europe. Sealift CS is mainly composed of hydrocolloïd of sulfated galactans with 15 to 40% of ester-sulfate content.
Sealift CS forms a defensive and moisturising gel barrier on the skin protecting from pollution, by trapping the impurities inhibiting their penetration in to the skin. The protective gel also acts as a moisture reservoir increasing moisture for up to 8 hours, whilst offering a mattifying effect to oily skin tone.
Sealift CS is a COSMOS approved material.
