PreBio™ Defense from Vantage uses a range of carefully selected naturally derived prebiotic polysaccharides, which are encapsulated in a cellulose matrix.
When released on the skin, they act as a powerful food supplement and conditioning agent for the habitation of beneficial microorganisms found on our skin. When delivered to the skin, the beneficial microorganisms can use the prebiotic polysaccharides as a source of nourishment and in turn overwhelm the potentially harmful microorganisms that are unable to metabolise these polysaccharides. This prebiotic effect helps to stimulate the immune system to stay vigilant and alert, boosting the skin’s barrier and protective functions.
