Boswellia serrata extract is known to inhibit the key enzyme in the inflammation pathway, 5-lipoxygenase thereby decreasing inflammation. Boswellia
serrata is more effective than other anti-irritants, because it has a very specific action, so does
not block production of prostaglandins and thromboxanes.
