ß-Gel™ from Lonza Personal Care Products offers multi-functional benefits to both skin and hair. This
three dimensional
matrix is specifically designed to provide moisturization to skin and hair with a gradual
time release of glycerin and betaine actives. An in vivo moisturization study confirmed that a 25% increase in skin moisturization was achieved following a single application. This active hydrogel also promotes collagen synthesis, stimulates
cellular ATP production, promotes cell proliferation and improves hair strength.
ß-Gel™ provides excellent stabilization in finished formulations, enhances viscosity
and is easily incorporated into the water phase of any product in either hot or cold conditions,
offering ease of manufacturing. ß-Gel™ can be used as a base to obtain stable
clear eye gels or incorporated into creams, serums, mousses or aftershaves.
