Liposilt® Black is a finely dispersed, hydrated organic multi-component colloids of fresh water sediments formed over 30,000 years ago, and collected from fresh water lakes in Eastern Europe. It consists of a liquid phase containing soluble organic materials and minerals, and a dispersed insoluble phase, which includes humic acids and lipids. Extensive studies have shown that Liposilt® Black show superior activity in comparison to three different commercially available muds in increasing skin moisture, reduces sebum flow, increases cell turnover and leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft.
Liposilt® Black is collected from an oxygenated portion of the lake and therefore it underwent more massive decomposition and oxidation than Liposilt® Green. It is also recommended for use in hair treatment wraps to reduce sebum, detangle and add body to the hair as well as moisturising the scalp.
