Lipocapsules® are distinguished by a clear non pigmented shell surrounding a single droplet or particle of a hydrophobic core material with or without a color. They can be produced using various materials. The most common are
gelatin and polyoxymethylene urea (PMU). The PMU Lipocapsules® employ the
precipitation of a synthetic polymer around a hydrophobic core material.
