Triple Tea Extract combines the extracts of Green Tea, White Tea and HoneyBush Tea which all contain a family of compounds called
polyphenols, packed with powerful antioxidants to protect your hair from harmful free radicals.
White Tea is the least processed tea from the Camellia Sinensis plant. White Tea is harvested by hand and the fresh picked leaves are rapidly fired and dried resulting in a purer, more natural state. This freshness is what researchers report may cause White Tea to have a greater concentration of polyphenols than Green Tea and, therefore, may have the strongest anti-cancer potential of all the teas.
Green Tea has been used to prepare beverages for more than 3,000 years and is the most commonly used beverage worldwide. Of the true teas from the Camellia Sinensis plant, Green Tea is nearly the least processed next to White Tea. The polyphenols found in Green Tea have shown to have anti-oxidant benefits that are two times stronger than Vitamins C and E.
HoneyBush Tea is indigenous to South Africa. The leaves, stems and flowers of the plant are used to manufacture a sweet herbal fusion that has a pleasant taste and aroma. During the flowering period the bushes are easily recognized in the field as they are covered with distinctive, deep yellow flowers, which have the characteristic sweet honey scent, from which the tea acquires its name. Honeybush has a very low tannin content and contains no caffeine. It is also rich in minerals.
