Spirulene Concentree is a liquid extract from fresh spirulina, a microscopic blue-green algae, which has a high content of phycocianin (95 mg/100 g). Phycocianin is the main pigment in Spirulina Platensis and is a fluorescent protein
which catches photons and then transform this light energy into biological energy. It is a powerful anti-oxidant suitable for both cosmetic and food applications and is produced using a cold extraction process to maintain full biological activity.
It has anti-inflammatory activity, acting on IL1 and PGE2 release induced by UVB exposure, as well as being an immunomodulator which acts on IL 8 & IL 10 release and restores lymphocyte proliferation. Spirulene Concentree is recommended for Anti-ageing skincare products and for protection against environmental agressions. It is preservative free and ECOCERT approved.
