DSM Nutritional Products have introduced a new range of polymers under the Tilamar trade name. The first three products to be introduced are:
TILAMAR™ Quat 640 is a highly charged aqueous solution polymer comprised of diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DADMAC) for hair care applications. It is a very effective conditioning agent for dry and chemically treated hair. It has a 35% solids content, and offers superior conditioning performance, has no build up, is easy to handle in production and is preservative free.
TILAMAR™ Quat 2240 is a highly charged aqueous solution copolymer comprised of diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DADMAC) and acrylic acid (AA) for hair and skin care. The product form has a 40% solids content. It offers extreme conditioning and detangling performance, superior sensorial attributes and improved removability without build-up effect.
TILAMAR™ OP 40 is a polymeric opacifier for hair and skin care applications. It has a 40% solids content, superior stability in cationic formulation systems, improved salt stability and good stability in low viscosity systems. It is an excellent opacifying agent for a broad application range of hair and skin care products and is ideal for cold process formulations.
